Oolong Mojitos and other Tea Cocktails

The Dos Hermanos blog recently shared an interesting Oolong Mojito recipe by Henrietta Lovell, owner of The Rare Tea Company.

The ingredients are:

  • rum
  • lime juice
  • unrefined sugar
  • fresh mint
  • cooled Oolong

    If you’re a fan of tea cocktails, give Tavalon Tea a try! Their Mo-tea-to’s are delicious! Not to mention the other kinds of tea they have, I’ve been ordering from their website and I’m loving all of the flavors I’ve had so far!

    This sounds appealing, particularly because I like my mojitos less sweet and I imagine, depending on what kind of oolong you used, it could add some pleasant bitterness. My intuition would be to try it using a formosa amber oolong and brewing it rather strongly.
